Private hire guidelines
Confirm the timing, costs and use of the space in advance for a smoother event day.
Timing & extensions
- The basic booking unit is 2 hours, including setup, the event, tidying up and departure. A late arrival does not change the agreed end time. Please arrange any early access with us in advance.
- Extensions require our prior agreement and confirmation that the following time slot is available. The fee is NT$250 per 30 minutes. Shorter extensions are charged in proportion to the actual minutes, rounded to the nearest whole NT dollar. For example, 15 extra minutes costs NT$125.
Food, drinks & equipment
- The food and drink minimum is NT$150 per person, separate from the venue hire fee. The hire fee cannot be used towards food or drinks. The minimum applies to the whole booking; extending the booking does not incur another minimum charge for the same person.
- The projector, microphone, sound system, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and movable tables and chairs are included in the venue hire fee. Please confirm equipment quantities, connectors and the setup when booking.
- For special equipment, custom catering or other requirements, the arrangements, fees and cancellation terms will be agreed in advance. No unagreed fees or duplicate penalties will be added afterwards.
Booking & payment
- Please confirm the date, start and end times, guest count, food and drinks, equipment and full cost on LINE before confirming the booking and payment arrangements. An enquiry alone does not reserve a time slot.
- A deposit of NT$200 is credited towards the venue hire fee. The balance is due on the event day. Payment methods and deadlines will be confirmed when booking.
- Full pricing and rules will be provided before booking, with time for review in accordance with applicable requirements. If children will attend, please also confirm their minimum spend and event arrangements.
Using & restoring the space
- Private hire covers the basement only. The suggested group size is around 15–20 guests, subject to the seating layout and event format.
- Please agree arrangements for outside food, decorations, volume and cleanup with us in advance. Tidy and restore the space after use, and keep passageways and emergency escape routes clear.
- Equipment damage will be handled according to actual responsibility and reasonable repair costs. No undisclosed cleaning penalties or arbitrary compensation multiples apply.
Cancellations & rescheduling
Notice is measured from when the café receives your cancellation to the scheduled booking start; one day means 24 hours. The following applies only to the NT$200 deposit.

- You may request one free rescheduling at least 7 full days before the start. Both parties must agree on the new date and time, and the deposit transfers to the new booking. Please contact us to discuss other circumstances.
- For specific and legitimate reasons such as serious illness, injury or death, you may request a change or cancellation under applicable rules without being limited by the ordinary cancellation policy or the one-time rescheduling limit. Other refund entitlements and legal rights remain unaffected.
Cancellation by the café & force majeure
If the agreed service cannot be provided for a reason attributable to the café and the booking is cancelled, double the deposit will be returned, totalling NT$400, together with any other payments for services not provided. This does not exempt the café from any other liability required by law.
If force majeure or other circumstances attributable to neither party prevent fulfilment, rescheduling may be discussed. If the booking is cancelled, the deposit and other payments for services not provided will be refunded. Rescheduling will not be imposed in place of a refund required by law.
